Traffic Sources: How to Create and Analyze Them
To effectively manage traffic sources, you can use our system's "Traffic Sources" tool. This tool simplifies working with statistics.
You must have at least one source to create streams or get links. Here's a step-by-step guide to creating a source:
1. Open the "Tools" section and go to the "Traffic Sources" tab.
Click on the "Create Source" button.

2. Give your source a name.
It will help you easily identify and organize it in the statistics and filters.

If you're using multiple traffic sources or promotional materials, it's recommended to use clear labels or designations. Include the country, source type, and website section. For example: Press Release, SEO, IN (Press Release page, SEO as the source type, and IN as the country).
3. Select the type that matches your traffic source.

For example, if it's search engine optimization (SEO), choose the SEO option. This will help you arrange deeper analysis based on different source types.
4. Assign a unique link for a traffic source if necessary.

For example, https://press-release-in.com. This is especially useful if you're using different pages as sources, it allows you to easily identify the specific traffic source.
5. Specify the country that corresponds to your traffic source.

It's recommended to fill in this information, particularly if you work on a RevenueShare payment model, as it helps you analyze traffic by country.
